Forever Forest & Color Combination Challenge

Well yesterday was Teach it Tuesday with Tammy & Jennie and boy did we have fun with our Color Combination challenge.  We chose three colors; Berry Burst, Copper Clay and Crushed Curry.  A perfect combination just in time for the Autumn months.  However let me tell you it was quite the challenge to come up with something with these colors because they are colors I don't typically use and would really never thought to put together before.

For a while I was stumped as to what to do, then I saw a piece of the Bright and Beautiful designer series paper.  The piece was an ombre of Berry Burst and it reminded me of a sky, so then I looked through my stamp stash and found the Forever Forest Bundle.  Things slowly came together and the final layout was exactly what I was looking for.

Below are the details including measurements and a list of all the supplies I used. If you watch the video you will find a couple of tips on how I gave the card some depth.

  • Card base: Berry Burst 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (scored at 4 1/4")
