Garden Meadow Window & Splendid Autumn

For the month of September I was given the opportunity to be a Guest Stamper in my Luv 2 Stamp group and it was awesome!  I will share over the next few weeks some of the cards I made using the Garden Meadow Bundle. Although there will be no videos like many of my other posts there will be supplies and measurements listed just in case you would like to recreate the card.

Today's show and tell is a fun one that uses the window die from the bundle to give the impression of looking out over a creek meandering through autumn trees.

 Card Details & Measurements:

  • Card base: Garden Green 11" x 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2"
  • Layer #1: DSP Splendid Autumn 4" x 5"
  • Layer #2: Garden Green 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" embossed with the Exposed Brick embossing folder then the "window" die was used to cut out the opening.
  • Layer #3: Crushed Curry 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" then the shape was cut out using the banner die from Nested Essentials Dies.
  • Sentiment: Garden Meadows stamp set and Garden Green ink.
  • Interior has a 5 1/4" x 4" panel of Very Vanilla for any handwritten note or additional sentiments.

If you want to make the interior fancy you could add a 1/2" strip of the remaining DSP to the right side or bottom of the Very Vanilla panel.

I hope you enjoyed this card it was inspired by many of the samples I found on Pinterest.  Keep an eye out for other cards I have made with this bundle over the next couple of weeks.

Happy Stamping!
