Toadstool Gardens - 2025 Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration Paper

Do I like mushrooms?  Nope, I don't like to eat them and I am not a big fan of them as decor or crafting.  Well I wasn't a fan for using them in crafting until now.  The Toadstool Gardens pattern paper from Stampin' Up! has changed my mind.  Even the colors weren't my favorite until I saw a what a few people were doing with this free Sale-a-Bration pattern paper.  Now I LOVE mushrooms, well at least I love these mushrooms. LOL

Last week I decided to use this paper to create cards I saw my friend Patty Bennett make during one of her lives recently, Fruit Salad Collage Cards.  When I started making the cards it reminded me of the Stack and Shuffle card technique.  Usually you use 3 or 4 pieces of pattern paper for this technique but this time I used only two.  When I finished making the cards I knew I had to share them with you on my upcoming Fun Friday live.

So here are the two I made during the live.  I will try to post the other two I made later this week.

Here are the details for making this card.  Below them is a photo of the pattern paper measurements and how they are arranged on the card front.

Details:

  • Card base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
  • Layer #1: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
  • Layer #2:  3 5/8" x 4 7/8" pattern paper cut into 4 different sizes (see them below)
  • Layer #3:  3 1/2" x 3 1/2" paper for the label punch
  • Embellishments: Sunny Day Dots

How to cut the pattern paper and place it on the card front.
